As someone who has always lived somewhere that has cold winters, I have a special place in my heart for a winter coat. Considering for a large chunk of the year all anyone sees is your coat, I'm a big believer in having a few to wear. It's taken couple of weeks to share but here's a look at my newest coat.

In Search of - Blanket Coat
Burberry beige coat, 35 890 SEK / STELLA McCARTNEY oversized coat, 18 325 SEK / Band of Outsiders woolen coat, 13 495 SEK / Isabel Marant cream coat, 10 025 SEK / Rag bone knee length coat, 4 275 SEK / Topshop coat, 1 735 SEK / ChloƩ, 28 080 SEK / Textured Checked Blanket Coat with Wool M&S, 1 375 SEK
Because I already have a basic black winter coat, I believe
my closet would benefit from a more exciting backup coat. What’s more fun than
a blanket coat? Snugly and warm, how can it get better? Personally I’m really
digging the Stella McCartney at bottom left.

What I Wore - White Coat
I have a couple of things I've been working on that I haven't been able to get up on the blog. In the meantime I've been running around trying to get things done, which for some reason hasn't been working out. Here's just a quick snap of what I wore today. I think it is amazing how much of my closet is made up of things I've thrifted or things I've sewn myself. This one in particular is almost all thrifted.

What I Wore - Red All Over
Sometimes when the weather is cold and dreary I like to dress bright and colourful to make myself happier.
I decided to go red all over because red is fun and I've worn mostly black the last couple of days.

New In - Plaid Coat
Best part about having super loud jackets? You can wear extremely simple clothes underneath and the whole outfit still ends up fun.
I found this jacket while thrifting and had to have it. I'm thinking of making it a little fitted but i'm not sure I will. Looking at the jacket and how it's sewed together it's clear that it's meant to be boxy and not fitted so I might just stick with the shape. I took off the belt because I'm in the process of fixing it and making a little change though.
