Get The Style - Wrap Skirts With Ties

Wrap Skirts With Ties

I don't know about you but I want every skirt here! Actually, just looking at these here, I think I've convinced myself I have to have one of those navy blue options.

Finished - Beige & Orange Wrap Skirt

I'm a lover of a wrap, always have been. There is something nice and easy about just slipping on a piece and tying it closed. It also helps that wrap skirts (or dresses) that tie are incredibly easy to make.

When I made the matching tank, I added the orange because I thought it would be an interesting addition to a pretty dull print. I liked it on the tank but I love it on the skirt. The whole skirt is simple, soft, and cute making it a great wear.

In Search Of - Flirty Wrap Skirt

In Search Of - Flirty Wrap Skirt

I know I'm no stranger to wrap skirts, I've already featured two right here (here & here). However, this time I want one that's a little prettier and flirty. Here's a little visual as to what I'm thinking about. Obviously I'll have to take into consideration what fabric I pick from my stash but I'm excited to get started!

Quick Look - Asymmetrical Skirt

I realized I put my new skirt up on the blog without showing what it looks like on. Here it is dressed up and down to see how it looks both ways.

Diy Asymmetrical Faux Leather Skirt

It case it wasn't obvious till now, my favourite colour is definitely blue. So when I saw this blue faux leather fabric was on sale for $3 a metre, it took me all of a second to decide to buy it. I figured the classy idea was to make a bright blue pencil skirt. To make it interesting though, I decided an asymetrical wrap skirt that hits right above the knee would be best. With the added cost of the concealed side zipper, this skirt ends up costing me less than $3. I've already started making a small purse with the rest of the fabric, but that isn't finished yet. I'll get a picture up soon on the blog to show you how it looks.

Diy Asymmetrical Wrap Skirt

I really wanted an asymmetrical skirt for my wardrobe and I thought the easiest/fastest way to do that was with a wrap skirt.

Really like how it looks on.
