Right in time for the festive season I managed to finish my African wax print skirt. Honestly it's probably not that festive, but as far as I am concerned, anything that's gold is festive. I'm looking forward to rocking this little lady sometime soon.

Diy Zippered Toiletry Pouch
I found this tutorial online here and decided to give it a try. I needed a new travel toiletry bag and this would fit that purpose
perfectly. My
version is a little smaller because the zipper I had on hand was smaller. Wax print fabric was used for both the outside and the lining of the box pouch. I figured it would be best for a toiletry bag and easy cleaning.
I also decided to make bigger loops on the end. I wanted loops that were easier to grab and hold on to and thats exactly how they turned out.

New In - African Waxprint Fabric
I recently spent a couple days in Stockholm, which means... I had time to do some shopping. In between checking out clothes, I stopped by a fabric shop looking for something interesting. That's when I happened upon this beauty. I've always wanted to make something out of an African waxprint. Unfortunately, they've never sold any at my local Montreal fabric store. Obviously I'm super excited I found this in Stockholm. I have no clue what I'll make out of it but I am really happy I bought it nonetheless.
