What I Wore - Black on Black / Leather on Leather

Fall is turning out to be cool and extremely dark, the same can be said about what I'm wearing.

What I Wore - Baggy Shorts & Trench

I've always been a big fan of baggy pants (no, I don't call them boyfriend jeans), so of course, I have baggy shorts. These shorts actually used to be a pair of pants I wore quite often, lately they're shorts I wear most of the summer. They were a diy project that only required a quick cut and fold. It was a lazy and laid-back day so baggy shorts and a trench worked during the heat and rain.

What I Wore - Mostly Vintage

Today I wore two of my favourite thrift finds together. I found this vintage silk top and loved the relaxed fit of it. It goes great with these vintage leather shorts because of it's split sides. High waisted shorts aren't exactly known for being flattering for backsides, so it's great having something covering it. The split sides of this top means I can tuck in the front and leave the back loose and long.

The on and off rain makes the trench & hood a needed cover.

What I Wore - Fall Colours for Dreary Spring

I'm a firm believer that a lot of season rules are a thing of the past. Go ahead and wear florals year around if you want to. I'm more into dressing for how the weather feels. If it's dreary outside, then I dress with that same feeling. With an ugly overcast day, I decided burnt orange and olive green felt right.

It was warm and ugly when I went out this morning but currently it's snowing. It's always great when the weather decides to change on you so you're not even remotely dressed weather appropriate.

What I Wore - Navy and Camel

Still not spring in Montreal but at least it's no longer freezing? Just a quick outfit post because I haven't blogged in forever.

What I Wore - Trench Vest & Denim Trench

Trying to be a good little blogger and get some daily photos up. I figure I'll put in the effort and make it a routine. If it feels more natural and routine, then it will be easier in the future. The goal is to get at least 5 posts a week of both outfits and diys.

Pulled another winter layering outfit with my trusty trench vest. The vest isn't very bulky which helps because the denim trench is a lot thicker than it looks.

What I Wore - Vintage Suede Jacket

Found this jacket thrifting a while ago and absolutely fell in love. It's a bright red mini trench, what's not to love?

If the tartan on this scarf looks familiar it's because it's the same fabric I used for my Christmas skirt. Considering I bought it to make a scarf, it was much better used as a skirt.
