What I Wore - Mostly Vintage

Today I wore two of my favourite thrift finds together. I found this vintage silk top and loved the relaxed fit of it. It goes great with these vintage leather shorts because of it's split sides. High waisted shorts aren't exactly known for being flattering for backsides, so it's great having something covering it. The split sides of this top means I can tuck in the front and leave the back loose and long. 

The on and off rain makes the trench & hood a needed cover.

What I Wore - Vintage Suede Jacket

Found this jacket thrifting a while ago and absolutely fell in love. It's a bright red mini trench, what's not to love?

If the tartan on this scarf looks familiar it's because it's the same fabric I used for my Christmas skirt. Considering I bought it to make a scarf, it was much better used as a skirt.

What I Wore - Winter Whites

Even though it doesn't look like it in this picture, the weather was nice today. Slightly overcast but warmer than it has been recently. I decided it was time to pull out my new winter coat. The coat was a gift to myself for my birthday. I love the soft muted colours of the coat that sets it apart from all the others I own. 

I decided the coat would look best with a soft muted outfit, hence all the whites and pastels.

Outfit of the Day - New Vintage Capelet

Found a way to wear my new vintage capelet! It actually fits comfortably over a couple of my coats so I decided to wear it with this trench Christmas gift shopping today.

New In - Vintage Leather Capelet

On occasions I find something that I'm not entirely sure I'll ever wear but just too enamored to not buy. Let me introduce you to something that definitely falls in that category; my new leather capelet. We'll see if It ever finds it's way into an outfit of mine!
