I'm on the search for the perfect nude nail polish colour. Out of the five I have, I'm leaning towards the middle finger and my thumb. I think none are yellow enough which pretty much sums up the problem I always have when it comes to matching my skin tone.

What I Wore - Navy and Camel
Still not spring in Montreal but at least it's no longer freezing? Just a quick outfit post because I haven't blogged in forever.

New Blazer
This is my first ever attempt at making a blazer. I had some issues with the collar not laying right which i'm pretty sure is because I chose a bad interfacing. It's actually not that bad in this picture but worse in real life... Hopefully next time it will work better.

What I Wore - White Coat
I have a couple of things I've been working on that I haven't been able to get up on the blog. In the meantime I've been running around trying to get things done, which for some reason hasn't been working out. Here's just a quick snap of what I wore today. I think it is amazing how much of my closet is made up of things I've thrifted or things I've sewn myself. This one in particular is almost all thrifted.

What I Wore - Red All Over
Sometimes when the weather is cold and dreary I like to dress bright and colourful to make myself happier.
I decided to go red all over because red is fun and I've worn mostly black the last couple of days.

Another Summer Skirt
What? It's still -8 degrees Celsius here in Montreal but I've decided to move on to spring thinking. It might have something to do with how easy it is to sew skirts. Couple that with my stash of random fabrics and cheap second hand invisible zippers and there's no way I can stop myself. My legs are in no shape to be photographed so instead here's a quick pic of my skirt.

What I Wore - Faux Fur and Leather
Yesterday I decided to wear my new sweater paired with my leather jacket refashion. The sweater is ridiculously warm so it was okay to wear running a couple errands during late winter. It was definitely more weather appropriate before I took the picture and it started to snow.

Faux Fur Sweater
So I may or may not have a slight obsession with faux fur. Instead of going the coat route, somehow I decided I needed a faux fur sweater! The fabric itself is a thick faux fur which I lined with a black satin. I wanted a high neckline and because there isn't any stretch to the fur, I put a zipper along one of the shoulders. If you look at the picture you can see the black suede zipper pull on the right shoulder. Haven't had time to get a picture of it on, but wanted to get it up on the blog since I haven't blogged in a bit.
