I have this habit of falling in love with something and kinda rolling with it. It doesn't matter whether it's a style, colour, or fabric. A switch in my head turns on and it's all I can think of. Right now, it's boucle and fringe. I'm definitely obsessing over it. I'd thought I'd visualize for you guys where my heads at, and who knows, maybe you'll be seeing something like these here on me soon.

I know it's not close to skirt weather yet but I'm definitely yearning to make quite a few. On the top of my list is a boucle/tweed fringe skirt. I don't have anything to make one but I've already started searching for different styles/inspiration.

The warmer weather has me craving some summer clothes. Honestly, it's not warm enough to wear skirts or dresses, but I want one anyways! If I make something more technically challenging, by the time I finish it will be warm enough to wear it. I've always loved trying new things, so I'm sewing a skirt with pleats for the first time. I haven't decided what it'll look like yet which has led me through the internet rabbit hole for inspiration. I think it will be a fun look to have a skirt that is half pleated, but whether that'll work with the fabric I have lined up, is up for debate. I'm going to start sewing and just hope for the best!

A white skirt would be the perfect summer piece. Nice, clean, and fresh bottom half to pair with whatever you feel like. I'm currently thinking it's exactly the piece I want for my wardrobe. I'm on the lookout for something not too plain in style. If after a bit of perusing stores I don't find, I'll probably take to my sewing machine.

New In- Next Project

I recently thrifted this suede trench for $12 with the intention to tailor it a bit to wear. Obviously I was swayed a bit by the price because that's the only way I can explain why I bought a coat that's a horrible colour for my skin tone. My new idea is turning it into a new purse, clutch, and crop top!
